It's very humbling that at such a painful time, so many families bother to write a card, call to say thank you or post an online review. It means a lot and we know that seeing some of the cards and what others have to say, does give confidence to new families, so we are happy to publish some of the recent comments here, plus links to the main sites where poeple leave reviews.

My beautiful dad Douglas Sharp passed away on 4th Nov 2016. I cannot express enough how amazing Rose and Bill Kane were with the organising of my dad's funeral . The care and compassion given to my family at such a gut wrenching difficult time really was amazing . How my dad was looked after , how we could see him helped so much to say goodbye.  How you came to the family home and listened and advised was so lovely . Nothing was too much trouble from the photos to the hand made flower cards and cat paw prints . Every last detail you gave , you helped us do a beautiful service for my dad and we did him proud. From start to finish a perfect send off for our grandad.  This was the first family funeral for us to sort out ourselves and the friendly welcome and relaxing rooms and people just set us at ease right away.  Attention to detail was faultless and those special little touches just kept on coming.  We loved the way all the generations were involved.  The little ones loved decoration their wooden shapes for the coffin and there was even one for grandad's faithful pet, Tizzy.  We knew before the day that it was just going to be special but we couldn't imagine the comments we would get after the service that Rose put together for us.  Lots of friends hadn't been to a celebration service like grandad's and said what an amazing service it was.  Grandad would had loved that.  We cannot Thank Bill, Rose and their lovely team enough.  We really feel we did grandad proud and this really was his day when we could show everyone how much he meant to us.  Kane Family Funerals helped us do this and would highly recommend them.  Thank you once again. You guided and supported  us in such a personal way enabling us to truly celebrate a life  that ended far too soon . A celebration  of everything  that  was easily recognized by family and friends  who came to the service -  we laughed cried and each carried away  a personal memory  - a shared moment with those who loved  laughed and  shared their lives  with my amazing friend  and were  able to take part in such a personal service  shaped by those who love her. From initially feeling afraid of the  last goodbye  we were left  with a final closure  that was everything  we could have hoped for. My grandmother died recently and I used Kane Family Funerals for the cremation at Nabwood. Their service was excellent, particularly the family-run touch. The funeral was organised easily and I felt like everything was taken care of for me. Also, the advice and suggestions they came up with were perfect. Praise where praise is due! Rose and Bill guided us through such a difficult time with such care and consideration that they soon felt like friends. We couldn’t have asked for more and Bill and Rose Kane and their lovely staff really did go the extra mile to make dad’s day so memorable and special. The horse drawn touch was a last minute gift but Bill pulled out the stops and dad would have been so proud to be taken in style by Reggie and Ronnie. People are still coming up to say what a personal service it was – thank you Rose for such a lovely service and for making it just as dad would have wanted. Everyone is booking you already. From our first meeting, we knew that dad would have been happy to have you both look after him. We cannot praise or recommend Rose Kane enough for the thoroughly empathetic and professional way in which she undertook all aspects of arranging the funeral of our beloved brother and in-law, Ainsley H. Fraser. Ainsley was a very special person of outstanding intellect and impact. The moving secular service that Rose orchestrated, with so many individual touches reflective of Ainsley, was truly befitting of such a singular man. Like Ainsley, it will long remain the in the memories of everyone in the packed crematorium.

The care and support you gave to both myself and my family was so comforting at the worst time in our lives . My mother was the focus on my life and always will be and the funeral you arranged was so personal my mother would have been so greatful and glad I found Kane's because I believe no one could have done a better job . Mum’s funeral was always going to be the hardest day of our lives but the Kanes looked after her so beautifully and gave such love and care and empathy to us all that we knew they would really be there for us on the day. All our friends said that the service for mum was the best they have ever attended and blended respect and celebration so perfectly.
