Trees of Love 2020

Comemmorating so many loved

ones who left this life in 2020

We are so sorry that Covid 19 has blighted our plans to host you all on December Saturdays this year, when you would (in normal times) have placed the stars we sent out to you.
We have purchased our commemorative Trees of Love and each family loved one has been commemorated with a star bearing their name. The trees stood in our Service Chapel throughout December and are now outside being watered by the rain, and awaiting a date when we can invite you to the planting.

The stars will be turned into ash and the ash planted at the roots of each tree.

We will get to our planting ground at St Ives eventually!

I know that you will have placed the stars we posted out on your own trees this year - so your loved ones had stars in two places!

We took photos of the trees this year, guarded by their silver unicorns, and trimmed with pine cones and glass and silver simple baubles, Please see these on the left. 2020 Trees of Love include a Rowan Tree to commemorate all the gentlemen who have been in our care this year, and a Birch Tree to commemorate all the ladies.

We will be writing to you to notify you of the planting dates in Autumn, at our woodland ground at Bingley St Ives Estate.

Take care and stay safe.

Rose, Bill and all the team at Kane Family Funerals.
